There is no manual that will fit every child; however, Parenting Foundations has information about child development, behaviour, and temperament. This information will help you understand what could be going on for your child.
Often all it takes is someone really understanding what is happening for you and guiding you towards a solution that allows you to be the parent you want to be. There are 1:1 and group support options available.
There are often times when it is difficult to see what is happening from a different angle. We can get stuck in thinking that our child is being difficult but with a different lens you can see that you child is having a difficult time.
What is Parenting Foundations?
Parenting Foundations was established as a mechanism to assist parents with bringing the fun back to parenting! Let’s face it, children do not come with individual operation manuals; however, it would make life so much easier if they did. The goal of Parenting Foundations is to increase a person’s Parenting Toolbox so he/she will feel empowered to increase their child’s ability to sleep and feel confident addressing most behaviour concerns in a calm, respectful manner.
Who is Parenting Foundations For?
Parenting Foundations is for parents and/caregivers that find themselves wondering what could be going on with their little ones. These parents are looking for information to help them get to the root of their child’s behaviour and give them some strategies to deal with the behaviours. These behaviours can be related to sleep, development, or an unmet need. Parenting Foundations is perfect for people with children from birth to age 8.
